Psychedelics, social change, social justice, qualitative research methods, deviance and social control.
Final Product
For my thesis, I interviewed those who have taken psilocybin mushrooms long-term to understand their experiences while on mushrooms and their motivation for taking them long-term. The name of my thesis is: "It kind of polishes all your flaws away": Long-Term Experiences With Psilocybin Mushrooms and the Influence of Set and Setting. 
Before the Program
I was volunteering with CASA of Humboldt and fostering a child. I was a server at the Eel River Brewing Co. in Fortuna. 
Why Humboldt Public Sociology
When researching the sociology program at Humboldt it looked like the perfect fit for me to learn how to share my skills within my community. 
About Humboldt Public Sociology
If it is difficult to get into contact with certain professors do not be shy to keep emailing, and stopping by their office, to get what you need out of the program. 
Current Career 
Lead organizer of Decriminalize Nature Humboldt and co-founder of the Humboldt psychedelic Society. She started a business called Microdosing Humboldt, where she provides coaching services to those microdosing psilocybin.
