WS 320. Act to End Violence Seminar

Transform our campus communities so that sexualized violence is an unthinkable act. Readings; group project. Focus rotates: grant writing, peer education, assessment of prevention education. [Rep.]

Act to End Sexualized Violence is a course which extends on the work of the Act to End Sexualized Violence seminar.   Participants will

  • Understand the structural resources available in our community.
  • Create connections between national organizations and Humboldt using tactical insights gathered in the class. 
  • Build cultural capacity to change communities to reduce harm and violence.
  • Be aware of actions that can be taken to fight sexualized violence ranging from cultural to institutional.
